BIS’s Dr. Dana Roth, Ph.D., teaches course on Quality of Care in Uganda

Dr. Dana Roth, Ph.D, Director of Research & Evaluation at Beit Issie Shapiro, has just wrapped up an exciting two weeks in Uganda teaching at the first “International Summer School: Improving the Quality of Life through the Quality of Care,” in Fort Portal at Mountains of the Moon University.  The program provided undergraduate and graduate students with the opportunity to learn how Quality of Care can improve the Quality of Life of people with disabilities. The summer school was a joint effort of the HoGent University College and the Global Minds program of VLIR-UOS from Flanders in Belgium, Mountains of the Moon University, Uganda, Western Kentucky University, USA, the International Association for the Scientific Study of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IASSIDD) Academy Board and Beit Issie Shapiro, Israel.
