In a moving ceremony held at Israel’s Knesset, sponsored by MKs Yoav Kish and Benny Begin and the presence of the Trump Family – Jules, Stephanie, and Sasha, and Education Minister Naftali Bennett – Beit Issie Shapiro gave the “Equality and Solidarity” Award in Memory of the late Willie and Celia Trump z”l for excellence in the field of disabilities to Prof. Liora Findler from Bar Ilan University and to the Israel Scouts inclusion of youth with disabilities program.

BIS also honored Ron Prosor with a special award as an individual who makes a direct impact on Israel’s status amongst the nations. Prosor also became the Vice President of The Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities – organizing educational and innovational events and meetings to directly influence the lives and experience of those with disabilities.
